We are currently seeking funding to support young women aging out of foster care, and girls in foster care returning home from incarceration, with life skills, workforce readiness, financial literacy, and the mentorship they need to build stable, independent lives.
Phase 1 · Community Programming

Power In Her House is building a pipeline that moves young women from foster care transition into stabilization, independent living, and one day, first-time homeownership. We start with what they need today: life skills, workforce readiness, financial literacy, and trauma-informed mentorship, the foundation every young woman deserves before she's pushed into the world alone.
Programming that meets young women where they are today.
Life skills, workforce readiness, and financial literacy.
A long-term path to independent housing and ownership.
Every dollar funds the curriculum, mentors, materials, and safe spaces that prepare these young women for stable, independent lives.
Cooking, cleaning, hygiene, time management, the everyday skills no one taught them.
Resume building, interview prep, workplace professionalism, and career placement support.
Budgeting, banking, credit education, and saving toward stable, independent housing.
Trusted mentors and individualized success plans for every young woman in the program.
Emotional wellness, healthy routines, and coordinated mental health referrals.
House meetings, community meals, and a safe sisterhood that replaces what the system didn't.
"I am passionate about creating a safe and empowering space where girls feel supported, encouraged, and equipped for success."
